s these photographs show, the damage to the east, south, and west coasts of Sri Lanka was considerable. Entire towns and villages were washed away, leaving only debris behind. Whole village populations were drowned, leaving no survivors. Other village populations survived, but are now homeless and without hope of employment. Longterm planning and help with the restructuring of these communities is needed. This is what our charity is doing now.
